Burning DVR TV shows onto DVD - buy dvd recorder limited value to american readers
Finally, we have a DVR! But space is limited, and some shows I want to burn to a DVD. The box has connections for a DVD burner.
Do buy a good DVD recorder with DVR? Is it easy to use? What should I avoid? (Links are cool, has details about their experience would be FAB).

We used a DVD-Recorder/VCR record programs to DVD for our family. It works very well.
DVD recorders are very similar to a VCR, only with a DVD-R disc instead of tape.
We have a Panasonic DVD-Recorder/VCR. This works very well, but crashed on us once or twice (we were forced to pull the plug from the wall to reset it.)
